Create Content Like a Maniac +BONUS Social Media Content Ideas

Are you banging your head against the table to find ways to come up with new and amazing content for your social media posts? It's ok, getting stuck happens all of the time. Here are some new tips and fun ways to create new content that you will proudly display on your feeds!

  1. Collaborate! Are you being featured on another blog, a website or basically anywhere in cyber space? Then talk about it on your social media feeds. If you are not, then consider collaborating with other people in your industry. Swap features or reach out to people to write on their blogs. Contributing and collaborating brings you more exposure and gives you something to talk about online.

  2. Insta Take Over! Do you know someone who's Instagram feed you would love to be featured on. Then consider approaching them for an Insta take over. You can officially take over another person's Instagram by creating their posts for them. This is a fun collaboration that usually lasts about a week. This is also a great way for you to gain exposure to their followers. You can also do the same. If you know someone who you would love to have on your feed, invite them to take over! It is a win-win for everyone involved.

  3. Stage it! I promise you that most of the pictures you see on the really great social media feeds have been staged! Yup, secrets out and it is more than okay to do this. It is not as hard as it sounds. All it takes is a backdrop, some creativity and your camera phone. This can also be a fun way to show a behind the scenes peek. If you make cupcakes (my new favorite reference) then lay out some of your fun decorations on a piece of white foam board and snap a picture of it. Then you simply brighten it up, crop it and then share it with the world!

  4. Be Creative! Look for ways to add some creativity to your posts. It can be challenging, but once you find your creative grove, it will become easier and easier. Look for inspiration in different aspects of your life and your business. If a new idea comes to you while you are on the go, make a quick memo in your phone. Then come back later to the idea. Ideas comes to you in the strangest times. Make sure you record it so that you can remember the thought later.

  5. Take a Step Back! Sometimes the best perspective we can have, is a new perspective. If you are feeling overwhelmed, take a break for a day or so. The world won't stop after just one day. If you find that you are still struggling, reach out for help. Find a business buddy or a professional that can give you new inspiration. Sometimes an outsider can offer a fresh look and make some inspiring suggestions.
